The group is open to youth 14–18, who are willing to follow the basic tenants of respect for self, others and the group. Youth sign a Code of Conduct, and must be willing to participate in the group activities. The youth are invited to participate in the group by other youth members, and adult leaders. The SCC teen Leadership Academy conducts weekly meetings. During these meetings we work on various skills to improve the youth overall life skills and we have community leaders speak to our group.
